Dylan Mckeon
– Managing Director
Dylan discovered his passion for music and events at a very young age. His career began at 15 in The Wezz, where his brother held a residency for many years. Since then, Dylan has progressed to performing at larger venues, transitioning from guest DJ to hosting celebrations, covering all aspects of the industry. Through his knowledge, passion, dedication, and hard work, he consistently aims to exceed our clients’ expectations, creating experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. Dylan will continue to organise and DJ events for many years to come.
Several key factors contributed to the establishment of the company. Having started as a part-time DJ from an early age, Dylan gained extensive experience performing at a variety of venues across Ireland. Along the way, he built a strong network of industry contacts and colleagues, which reinforced his passion for the art of DJing. This foundation allowed Dylan to assemble a skilled team to launch the business.
Dave Colt
– Sales Operations & Events Director
Dave is one of Dublin’s top disc jockeys, known for his passion and talent on the turntables. His career began in iconic venues like Redbox, Tripod, The Academy, and Tivoli/Temple Theatres. Dave’s talent and reputation are in high demand today, with regular gigs at popular spots like Camden, Wrights, Living Room, and 79 West.
Beyond his DJ skills, Dave has the gift of the gab and excels as an MC for corporate events and high-end shows.
Alan Lynch
– Sales and Event Coordinator
Alan is our Sales and Events Coordinator and loves working with clients to realise their vision. His journey began with a deep passion for music, sparked when he acquired his first DJ setup in his early 20s.
Alan has worked on hundreds of projects, from family gatherings to club nights and corporate launches, conferences and galas, developing a keen knowledge, instinct, and passion for what goes into creating the perfect event.
Cathal Smullen
– Equipment Hire and Technical Support
Cathal’s deep passion for the arts, particularly the technical side, has shaped his extensive career in the industry. He’s worked on various productions in renowned venues like Dublin’s Convention Centre, The Mermaid Arts Centre, and The Civic Theatre.
At Empire, Cathal consults on the best technical solutions for each show, ensuring every client’s vision becomes a reality. He thrives on being on-site, collaborating with clients, designing shows, solving challenges, and operating the latest industry technology to create unforgettable experiences.
